New Pew Research on Mobile Phone Problems

The Future of Big Data

The Pew Internet & American Life Center has published a new study on problems faced by cell phone users. Highlights of their findings include the following: 88% of American adults are cell phone owners. 69% of users who text report that they receive unwanted spam and texts “at least weekly.” 72% of users experience dropped calls occasionally, with 32% reporting that this happens “at least a few times a week or more frequently than that.” Smartphone owners report higher incidence of all of the above.
