Last week on June 7, UAT kicked off hosting a series of technology-themed workshops for residents of the newly opened Girl Scout camp, the Bob and Renee Parsons Leadership Center for Girls and Women at Camp South Mountain, which opened last April. Student Innovation Fair winners - All in Vein

The UAT Student Innovation Project (SIP) Fair was held April 20, showcasing over 20 innovative projects by many graduating students. This semester, the program was enhanced a bit to provide a unique experience for all UAT students and employees. The presentations were broken into five segments allowing each group time to play the project overview video, present the project and answer questions in the theater followed up by demos and further Q&A’s from judges, staff, professors and fellow students in the commons area. G33K Squad Competes in Southwest VEX U Tournament

UAT G33K Squad at Southwest VEX U Tournament

UAT’s Robotics Team, the G33K Squad, took a road trip to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to compete in the Southwest VEX U Tournament on March 4, 2017. The team, along with Professors Jill Coddington and Mark Fedasiuk, spent a fun day of competing for a chance to win a spot in the VEX U World Championship. There were 12 University teams competing in this competition. Each team participated in six matches. The Southwest VEX U Tournament is the only regional tournament in our area.
