UAT Professor of Computer Science, Dr. Jill Coddington, recently served as a judge for the Pikes Peak Christian School (PPCS) Middle School Science Fair in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Program Lead for the Advancing Computer Science and Robotics & Embedded Systems degrees, Dr. Coddington understands the scientific method and was able to help select winners of the science fair. UAT is getting involved in Maker Faire this year and the event couldn’t be a more perfect fit for our innovative community of makers, especially students in the Digital Maker and Fabrication degree! What is Maker Faire? It’s called the “Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth.” Maker Faire is part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new! As a celebration of the Maker Movement, it’s a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
